Observation notes: Windy Dry day sunny hight 72, male was chasing female courted a while then began mating. Sheltered canyon rich in diversity Sweet Bush Host plant for this species near by very little blooming due to lack of rain. Some moisture in ground from a few light rains. desert lavender blooming and very few other shrubs looked very lively Chuperosa also good blooms we saw no tiny checkerspots though. Desert Metalmark, wrights Becker's white, orange tip, Northern whit checkered skipper female, Coloro desert swallowtail , bramble, sonoran and silvery blues, other whites
