Who are the state/regional coordinators, and what do they do?

The State/Regional Coordinators are individuals who can identify species and who can report records to the Butterflies and Moths of North America database. If you have a photograph or a specimen of a butterfly or moth and you want to submit your finding to us, please contact your region's coordinator. Be sure to replace (at) with @ before you send the e-mail. If your region doesn't have a coordinator listed below, please contact us.

Include in your e-mail: your name, date of sighting, location (including address, city, county, and state or province), and the species you think you found. Note: Please do not include large photo attachments in your initial e-mail (small are fine). Also, do not expect an immediate reply, as coordinators often receive hundreds of requests during the busy season. If you do not receive a reply in 10 working days, please contact us.
