Observation notes: United States of America. South Carolina. Francis Marion National Forest in the coastal plain north of Charleston. Habitat was a wet ditch adjacent to long leaf pine stand managed for red-cockaded woodpeckers. Trying to verify if this is the Berry's skipper (Euphyes berryi). It is foraging on pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata).
