Observation notes: Patriarch Grove Bristle Cone Pine forest 11k + Partly sunny wind ten to fifteen mph. went looking for wrighting's and struck out. But found this. very few butterflies to be found very dry. We did see Sand Hill skipper though Kaufman and Brock had a butterfly shown that looked like this. They said it looked different on the Calif. Nevada border. Missing webbing. Uncas skipper? Would be a lifer if it is. Hope you are well! Hope to see you out in the field soon!
