Pahaska Skipper
Hesperia pahaska

Observation date: July 14, 2022
Submitted by: Christian.Nunes
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Two seen at a little rocky "summit." Both worn males. Images of both are included with this observation. As always, I'm open to corrections on the ID (i.e. viridis rather than pahaska).

Coordinator notes: You are correct Christian...pahaska not viridis. One character not usually noted between the two is that the most upper spot in the anterior band near the hw costa on pahaska is always separated from the one in back of it...on viridis they are rarely separated...one sits on the other, much like it does in juba except not quite as equal in position (stacked) as they are on juba.
