Observation notes: Another one we both got Diane and I that could be very late record for the season? Sunny but cool all day, the sun seemed to bring out the butterflies. Some would hide in the rocks when disturbed especially parnassians and Rock Slide. Coppers were more willing to pose in the sun. The Arctic would go hide in the rocks or grass. 49 at Ten am Fifty at 6 pm at the end for hike. We saw one or two of these and some other coppers. Edith females were the most common. Also Sierra Blue and Shasta , We also got Ruddy on a this day and other days. We will post it soon. Thanks Again Ken!
