Observation notes: My family and I saw this moth at Wild River State Park. It had just came out of it's cocoon and was flapping it's wings to attract a mate. That was the only day it was available to see at the park because it was released the same day. It was neat because the moth would simply walk from hand to hand and many kids got to hold it.
