Observation notes: One of two exuviae found on canna lilies on this date. A third and a possible adult-- maybe two--were found on Sept 21. The canna lilies are an established population maintained by park staff, who told us that rhizomes and sometimes whole plants are kept in the greenhouse overwinter and that new plants had not been planted this year.
