Observation notes: First, I regret that the late-season moth might be too faded for any ID, but it was very attractive. It spent about a half-hour flying among butterfly bush blossoms and nectaring like a butterfly. Particularly striking about it was its very rapid wingbeat. It had good flight control too, and periods of bright sunlight didn't affect it.
