Observation notes: N of Visitor Center at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, Nampa, ID. Sage steppe habitat. Elev approx 3000 ft. Nectaring at Chrysothamnus sp. blossoms. Observed earlier in the summer at Deer Flat, but most common in September when Chrysothamnus sp. is in bloom.
