Observation notes: Moth emerged from cocoon on May 2 and remained on tree with mate from at least 8:30 a.m. May 2 until 7:00 p.m. May 3, last time we checked. Did not see them there May 4. There was heavy rain and lightning early in the morning of May 4, otherwise clear and warm.
