Coordinator notes: Note: Immaculate Hyphantria cunea are *very* similar, but typically have less distinct banding (or none) on the tarsi. The strong black/white banding on the tarsi of this specimen is a good indicator of virginica, but absent an abdominal view, ruling out H. cunea *completely* is hard to do. -JDR
