Observation date: August 30, 2022
Date notes: Don't remember the exact time but it was early afternoon
Submitted by: John Johnson
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Not knowing alot about butterflies not sure on behavior, My research suggest it is either a Great Spangled Fritillary or a Aphrodite Fritillary, The Great Spangled seems more common for the area. Someone else suggested a Atlantis Fritillary but I do not think it is right, there are no reports of one in that area. It was seen at Sage Hen Reservoir in Gem County Idaho in the Boise National Forest
