Observation notes: Location was in the butterfly garden of Lovers Key State Park..33931 Day was sunny, hot, humid and the garden was in full bloom with various flowers, trees and bushes. This particular butterfly was flying from sensitive plant, to porter weed, to the beauty berry bush....it was flighty and rested only very quickly before moving on to another food source. There were zebra longwings, cloudless sulfurs, gulf fritillary butterflies all around. This is a great location year round to see these lovely creatures.
