Observation notes: Collected nectaring at blossoms on bush in parking lot of Visitor Center of Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, Nampa, Canyon Co., ID. Elev approx. 3000 ft. Sage steppe habitat. Second year that a specimen was observed very early in the season. So far, in 7 years of insect survey at Deer Flat have never observed an adult later than April. Specimen resides in the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History at The College of Idaho, Caldwell, ID.
