Coordinator notes: The two characters readily seen in the picture submitted that differentiate the suggested species (in Colorado we do not have the "Acmon Blue" it is P. lupini - the "Buckwheat Blue") with E. ancilla: The white wing fringe has black checks and there are no metallic macules bordering the black spots near the edge of the hindwings. P. lupini (and P. acmon in its range) do not have the black fringe checks and have shiny blue or greenish-blue scales on the hindwings where noted. Mike
