Observation notes: This butterfly/moth (not really sure which) was so tiny I could barely see it. I may not have seen it at all if it had not been on a white surface (my bathroom sink). I would say its entire wingspan was about 3/8 of an inch. I took a picture as best I could, but my iPhone camera does not have good resolution on close-ups. For reference purposes, I am including two photos: 1) a cropped, digitally zoomed-in photo; 2) a photo next to a small woman's ring for size reference.
