Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The butterfly was struggling to stay upright. It was walking along the pavement and not accessing the native plants.

Coordinator notes: Upon further review, this is a Johnson's Hairstreak, albeit a fresh one, which gives that slight blue refraction. The black postmedian spots do not extend all the way up the hindwing and there is no white cell forewing dash, as in spinetorum. Still a great record!
