Observation notes: Behaviour - This butterfly flew around the yard when I got too close but it stayed in the vicinity long enough for my to take it's picture. It seemed to prefer the yellow flowers of our Cinquefoil bush, but also landed on our gravel driveway briefly.

Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct. The behavior you describe is typical of this butterfly; they tend to keep returning to the same location after being scared away, unlike many other butterfly species.
