Observation notes: A local pointed out the caterpillar to me as we walked down a rocky muddy road, it was crossing a few feet in front of us. I bent down to get close and take pictures, he warned me that it is poisonous. Later told its local name is uncipres (oon-see-press). I looked up its scientific name online and believe it is correct.
