Observation notes: This medium sized Skipper was seen feeding on Cliff Aster blossoms in the southeast corner of Griffith Park. The ventral side of the forewing shows a distinct spotted pattern. I was able to get a single shot in flight which, though soft in focus, manages to show the pattern on the dorsal wing surfaces.
