Observation notes: A single individual photographed above 13,000 ft on San Luis Peak's South Ridge. Talus with sparse vegetation. Many Anicia Checkerspots and Melissa Arctics in the vicinity, as well as a handful of Magdalena Alpines.

Coordinator notes: Yes Christian....you can see the white veins on the hindwing quite clearly. Flies every year but perhaps more common in even years. Mike
