Observation notes: Caterpillar has been living/feeding on a mature potted basil plant continuously for over a week. Weather has varied between mid-70’s F daytime to low-50’s F at night. Mostly sunny days with a couple good rain showers. Caterpillar contracts it’s body and hangs by it’s mouth to mimic a dead leaf if disturbed.
