Range: Subspecies teutila is found in central Mexico (Jalisco to Veracruz). Subspecies flavifasciata is found in Southern Mexico (Oaxaca). Subspecies flavomaculata is found in Costa Rica and Panama. There are also segregates found in Guerrero and Chiapas. (Butterflies of America)
