Observation notes: Did not see it on any buckwheat. Area had mix of oak trees, chaparral, and non-native annual grasses. The ceanothus was in full bloom.

Coordinator notes: Not having a specific locality makes this problematic. Most of the time, blues that look like yours are acmon, orange up the forewing even, which happens in the Lupine Blue complex too.-Ken Davenport
