Observation notes: This butterfly was at the San Antonio Botanical Garden nectaring on Wild or Mexican Olive aka Anacahuita (Cordia boissieri). There are several species of the host plant, Bauhinia / Orchid Tree, growing at the garden including Bauhinia mexicana and B. lunarioides.
