Observation notes: Hot, hazy afternoon with smoke from California wild fires. Very windy. Lots of skippers feeding on Rabbitbrush. Skippers were mostly Uncas, if this ID is correct. Note: Date is correct, and Uncas were seen at Klamath Marsh NWR daily August 24-27.
