Observation notes: Warm sunny day, about 75 degrees F, this lone butterfly was probing a mud puddle along the gravel road near Turtle Flats. A few other Lorquin's were also seen flying in the area, or we saw one sunning on leaves in the forested wetlands nearby at the Homer Campbell Boardwalk.
