Observation notes: Thousands of these moths appeared over the last couple days dead and dying. Weather has been unusually hot - 90s to 100ish - and there is an 80,000 acre forest fire in the vicinity creating a lingering light smoke haze. Moths were spread under equipment and around the base of buildings as well as littered along the ground.
