Observation notes: Butterfly at top of photo. Submitted this sighting because it documents a behavior. I know butterflies do this, I just found it interesting. I think the butterflies are feeding on coyote scat, judging by the shape of the scat and the amount of fur in the scat. The second butterfly does not have any clues that I could use to identify. Warm sunny day.
