Observation notes: I watched this big guy scout for the perfect leaf on an American beauty berry bush around 7:00 pm yesterday evening. When he found “the one”, he spread out on it vertically. I was shocked to find that he is still there in the exact same position this morning. It’s starting to get cooler her so I don’t know if this is due to the weather. He also didn’t move when I was only 3” away from him once he found his leaf.
