Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I have carefully cared for this specimen my entire life. It was collected the summer of 1957 by my sister in the fields adjoining our property. At that time, there was a large grove of Paw paw on that property (at that time, Nankin Twp, MI, now Westland, MI) and Zebra swallowtails we’re a common sight every summer. In 1960, the entire site was bulldozed for a subdivision and we never saw them again. This specimen is the only thing left to show they were ever there.
