Observation notes: Individuals flying from site-to-site on moist soil of seeps to take nutrients alongside Soledad Canyon Trail. They were few among many individuals of other butterfly species, the most common being sleepy oranges and checkered-skippers. The mid-day was warm and sunny with light wind gusts.
