Coordinator notes: Renee, I agree with your Gray Buckeye ID. BAMONA, however, has not yet adopted J. grisea as the western counterpart of eastern J. coenia, so I have to approve this as Common Buckeye. This will be worked out eventually . . . and now that I have the option of going with Gray Buckeye, I think the photo does not give me enough to on one way or the other; there may even be some Dark Buckeye DNA in it, so I'm going with Junonia sp. (= no decision).
