Coordinator notes: I think this may be Herpetogramma abdominalis. But...after a bit of searching through iNaturalist and finding 15 pages of moths with suggested ID of Herpetogramma aquilonalis which seemed strange, I came across a notice that there had been a taxonomic split for Herpetogramma abdominalis which apparently has caused a bit of confusion for now as far as suggested IDs. From what I can tell, H. abdominalis has been split into four groups. This change has not yet taken place in BugGuide, however, MPG seems to be in the process of making the changes. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/92769 I'll move this moth to H. abdominalis for now since they are still using that name on BAMONA.
