Observation notes: Warm, sunny day. Wind calm. Butterfly perching and patrolling. Habitat: Asphalt parking lot with treed, weedy shoulders. Main flowers blooming Oxeye daisy and Hawkweed of some sort. Dry, rain puddles have evaporated. Noble Fir forest that has been thinned, nice native plant groundcover emerging in places.
