Observation notes: There were no plants near where this caterpillar was located. It was taking a brisk walk across a bench located on the boardwalk in the preserve. It seemed quite lively and in a hurry to get wherever it was going.
The evening was especially warm for the first day of October, 66°F with a lovely breeze.
