Tobacco Budworm Moth
Chloridea virescens

Observation date: October 13, 2022
Submitted by: Evacado
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Found these in a petunia that was given to me, they seem to be eating the leaves and are leaving droppings. Not sure whether they are pests and should be put outside or if I should let them stay
Status: Resident
Verified by: jwileyrains
Verified date: October 16, 2022
Coordinator notes: They could be considered pests, sure, if you want to keep your petunias looking good. They'll certainly keep eating!
