Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: One of three seen, but the only one photographed. All closely associated with seeps and springs at the bottoms of canyons on a private ranch adjacent to the OK border. Third state record, as fas as I can reckon (1st by Ray Stanford, April 20, 1994, CO/NM/OK corner monument, Baca County. 2nd reported by David Leatherman from Janeal Thompson's yard on August 26, 2021, in Lamar, Prowers County).

Coordinator notes: Correct ID...a female...correct...not too many sightings/records for this species in SECO. Is there Beargrass at or near that area and if so, did you find C. mcfarlandi? Maybe this is on or near the ranch with recorded localities? Mike
