Coordinator notes: According to Butterflies of America, Zenis jebus is a Brazilian species. Zenis hemizona (formerly jebus) seems restricted to MX, and should show a purple wash when fresh. The very similar "Zenis minos" is found from Mexico down through Honduras and Costa Rica, so its range makes much more sense for an El Salvador sighting. Clearly, the species in this genus are not fully understood. Important to have this record in BAMONA, so I will request that "Zenis minos" be added.
