Date notes: I saw this Pink Striped Oakworm Moth this morning, and tonight it looked different. Is this a male ready to mate?

Observation notes: This moth has been in this same place all day (on the pole of our carport). It hasn't appeared to move but tonight you can see a change on the bottom. It this something to do with mating?
