  Sighting 1370148

Observation date: September 02, 2023
Submitted by: Cascade Colors
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The spots are so pronounced that I feel like Glassywing and pepper and salt skippers can be eliminated. I don't think there are other non-cloudywing skippers that would have this type of spotting, though I know the Silver-banded skipper can have this effect but I didn't think it was that one. But there seems to be a small hint of orange near the base of the upper wings, which would rule out the cloudywings, right? Or could it be a confused cloudywing? I also noticed what seemed to be a very light/whitish head, which doesn't match many butterflies. (I couldn't get any closer or take other pics because it was on someone else's property and I was really zoomed in with my camera)
