Observation notes: Seen in Chaparral scrub on Serpentine soil about 1000 ft. in western Mayacamas mountains, Sonoma County. Flying about, then dove into a stunted Coast Live Oak. Warm 88 degree afternoon with light breezes and full sunshine.
