Observation notes: Almost an inch of rain day before mostly cloudy am, to mostly sunny pm. Saw at least 6-7 of these most were very worn. Getting nectar and basking in the sun. 70-71 about 1:30 pm. very active in heat of day. May set or extend late date record. Ground very muddy from hard long rain day before. Not sure if these will have a little longer season with the rain. This is so close to our house that we will probably be able to monitor these for later dates.
