Observation notes: Got a Really good look at the underside twice on this one skipper that I saw. It had the row of dots across the forewing and we have seen so many of these that the topside is like nothing else in this area. Same spot along the railroad tracks in san Clemente. cool wind off the cold ocean water in the low sixties on the water temp air in mid sixties. Butterfly would land with wings closed but open wings to warm almost instantly very hard this day to get shot of the underside this time. Sunny warm with cold breeze. could only find one this day.
