Observation notes: Flying low to ground nectaring on lyre-leaf sage (Salvia lyrata). Along roadside across from open grassy (Bahiagrass) field and adjacent to wooded area dominated by red maple, sweetgum, and American holly. Weather was clear and about 65F. All four images of same individual.
