Coordinator notes: Yes a little bit west of some records for Kansas, you are out near Abbyville/Partridge but it COULD occur in that part of and in Reno County. This would be a county record in KS btw. There are records for eastern McPherson and eastern Harvey Counties as well as in Dickinson County. Food sources are available in Reno County for this species, especially Prunus angustifolia "Chickasaw Plum", or as we call it here in Kansas - "Sand Hill Plum". Unless the moth was brought in on a vehicle dead I'd say the moth could occur at your location so I'd accept this. Thanks, JAMES STEEN
