Observation notes: Seen on atree trunk about 9ft above ground level, Near Puerto Felippe Carillo, Yucatan, Mexico. I realise this is not quite N America but I have submitted this to flickr for ID with no success. As a visitor from the UK, I would lobe to know the name of this beautiful moth.
