Observation notes: I rescued this moth from my cat one evening after the cat had harrassed it for an unknown amount of time. I had first observed this moth outside a week prior. It did not seem to be very active, and it was on the ground near a four-winged saltbrush in my yard. The weather has been un-seasonally warm and dry for several weeks, with weak thunderstorms every 2 weeks or so. I live at 5300' elevation in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies. I still have the moth and I'm hoping it will recover. If you can identify it, can you also give me advice on what this moth might need to recover? Thanks.
