Subfamily:
Identification: Thorax green. Forewing brown with large green patch that has a nearly straight outer edge. No darker brown patch in brown terminal border as in Parasa indetermina. Hindwing yellowish with broad brownish border.
Wing Span: 1.8-2.7 cm.
Life History:
Flight: May-August.
Caterpillar Hosts: Woody plants, such as apple, dogwood, elms, and oaks.
Adult Food:
Habitat:
Range: New York to Florida, west to Missouri and Mississippi.
Conservation: More common than Parasa indetermina.
